Luz Elena García has a Law degree from Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia), and postgraduate degrees in International Business from Universidad Externado (Colombia) and Administration and Management from Harvard University.

She has been the COO of Alibi Films since April 2019, in charge of directing the operations and business affairs of the company in Colombia, Mexico, and the United States.

Before joining Alibi Films, she was a legal advisor to several companies dedicated to producing films, television, and other media content.

She has more than eighteen years of experience providing legal advice for the entertainment industry, working both as a lawyer for local television networks, as well as for production companies that produce scripted and unscripted content for the international market.

As the COO of Alibi Films, she has expanded her experience throughout the entire value chain related to audiovisual production.
